The application provides an electronic mechanical braking system and an electric vehicle, and relates to the technical field of electric automobiles. The electromechanical braking system comprises a first central controller, a second central controller and four wheel end braking devices, wherein the first central controller is used for controlling the four wheel end braking devices to output clamping force to four wheels of an electric vehicle according to an effective brake pedal signal in the braking process of at least one of the first brake pedal signal and the second brake pedal signal, and controlling the four wheel end braking devices to output clamping force to the four wheels of the electric vehicle after receiving brake lamp switch signals when the first brake pedal signal and the second brake pedal signal are invalid. In this way, the safety and reliability of the electromechanical brake system are improved.
