The application discloses a novel wire control EMB system architecture and a method, comprising a controller PCBA, wherein the controller PCBA comprises three microprocessor modules, a plurality of bus switches and a plurality of bus drivers, the microprocessor modules are connected with the bus switches through bus signals 1, a watchdog module is further arranged between the microprocessor modules and the bus switches, the watchdog module transmits enabling signals to the redundant bus switches for controlling the bus switches to be turned on or off, the bus switches are connected with the bus drivers to ensure the communication realization, the novel wire control EMB system architecture and the method promote the design compactness, meanwhile, three microprocessor modules are used as redundancy backup, two microprocessor modules respectively control two wheel side brake motors of a diagonal, and the other microprocessor module is used as a backup module after the conventional microprocessor modules fail, so that the design safety redundancy is greatly improved, and the driving safety is improved.
