The application discloses an automatic release control method and device of an electronic parking brake system, electronic equipment, a medium and a vehicle, wherein the method comprises the steps of obtaining a driving operation signal; the driving operation signal at least comprises a gear operation signal, a brake pedal operation signal and an accelerator operation signal, current gradient data are obtained, a target running state is determined according to the current gradient data and the driving operation signal, whether an automatic release condition of the electronic parking brake system is met is judged according to the target running state, the current gradient data and the driving operation signal, and whether the electronic parking brake system is controlled to release is determined. The application can cooperate with the gear shifting operation of a driver, considers the possible vehicle sliding phenomenon in the releasing process of the electronic parking brake system, realizes the automatic releasing of the electronic parking brake system, avoids the sliding in the releasing process of the electronic parking brake system, improves the driving safety and is widely applied to the field of automobile control.
